It is not acceptable to not know what constitutes sexual harassment. Several states like California, Delaware and New York have made it mandatory that employers provide sexual harassment training to their employees. In 2018, the state of New York and New York City passed a law requiring sexual harassment training be provided to all employees on an annual basis. By providing sexual harassment training to your organization you are creating a safer workplace, reducing the likelihood of an incident occurring, protecting your reputation, reducing financial loss due to litigation and as is the case in New York, following the law. This course will also touch on discrimination in the workplace and the laws governing that.
